In December 2019, we united as an auction team to raise funds for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) at the Mayor’s Masked Ball in Atlanta, Georgia. This historic event featured the largest gathering of Black Auctioneers from Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia.
Supporting UNCF’s Mission
The UNCF believes “A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.” Their mission is to support under-represented students to become highly-qualified college graduates and ensure best practices in education.
Event Highlights
Approximately 1400 guests attended, scholarships were awarded, notable speakers presented, and the night concluded with a performance by Charlie Wilson. The event exceeded its fundraising goal, raising nearly $1.35 million for scholarships at historically black colleges and universities nationwide.
